About Jenny
With a Level 5 qualification in Applied Canine Behaviour and accredited in Canine Communication, I’ve spent years owning and working with dogs. My focus is never just on stopping what a behaviour looks like. Instead, I look at what’s driving it. I take a behaviour-first approach, assessing emotional state, stress levels, and real-life context.
Over the years, I’ve combined hands-on experience with formal study. I’m also Canine First Aid and CPR trained (including paw and pad injuries), DBS checked and fully insured — because professionalism and safety matter as much as knowledge.
I see my business as a family. Dogs behave the way they do because of their emotions, arousal levels, natural instincts, learning history, and environment. Understanding these factors is the foundation of everything I do.

Experience & Expertise
I have decades of experience in animal behaviour, and for the past 8 years I’ve been running my own professional practice. My business has grown almost entirely through recommendation, with owners sharing their positive experiences and the real-life results they’ve achieved through my services.
Before specialising in canine behaviour, I worked as a teacher and later became Head of Year, undertaking National Leadership training. This experience shaped how I teach today, helping owners clearly understand behaviour and build confidence working with their dogs.
While my qualifications formalise my knowledge, the depth of my understanding comes from years of hands-on observation and real-world experience working with dogs in everyday environments.
What This Means for You
Your dog’s behaviour is carefully assessed, not guessed. This means you receive a professional, tailored service designed to deliver the results you need. Whether it’s 1:1 training, group classes, pack socialisation, home boarding, or community events, every aspect of my business is centred around support, progress, and helping owners enjoy life with their dogs.

About my dogs
I own four beautiful, working type Labrador Retrievers.
They come with me to work and help me to correctly socialise client dogs. They are very good at their job and whilst I don't need them to work, they absolutely love their job!
